I was born a twin at Wollongong hospital, me and my twin would fight often as you would expect with 2 young boys. My dad put us both into Wrestling and Rugby League at the age of 6.
Switch over to MMA training at freestyle MMA when I was 13. I always wanted to test myself against the best and switching over to BJJ at 13 opened up a lot more opportunities for competition at a young age I couldn’t myself doing anything else besides fighting full time, it just suits me as a person with the constant day in and day out grind.
What drives me, is my goal to become the best in the world and seeing Alex Volkanovski rise from 2-0 as professional under the tutelage of Coach Joe Lopez to the pound for pound best is all the proof I need that I’m in the perfect place to follow these goals.
